If there's one thing you've probably noticed about The Phoenix Cake Company, it's that we don't stay in one place for very long.

One weekend we're at an airshow, the next we're at a country fair, a market or somewhere completely different.

And there's a reason for that.

There simply aren't enough completely gluten-free places out there, especially at events.

I know what it's like to go somewhere for the day and find absolutely nothing you can eat. And I know how frustrating that is.

So I'm doing my best to change it, one event at a time.




Keep an eye on this page because I'm always adding new dates, and sometimes things change.

If you're travelling especially to see us, it's worth checking our social media before setting off.


What You'll Find at Our Horsebox


Plenty of cake, for a start.

Brownies, cookies, blondies, cake slices, seasonal favourites and whatever else I've been busy making that week.

We also serve freshly made barista coffee, hot chocolates and a selection of other drinks.

Our cake selection changes depending on the event, but there's one thing that doesn't.

Every single cake is gluten-free.

No separate gluten-free section. No having to ask which cakes are suitable.

You can choose anything from our cake counter.

And if you're not gluten-free, please don't let that put you off. We have plenty of customers who aren't, and they keep coming back.


Travelling to Find Us?


I know some of you travel quite a distance to visit Phoenix.

And I genuinely appreciate it. There's nothing quite like meeting someone who tells me they've come to an event specifically because they knew we'd be there. So if you're planning a visit, come and say hello. Tell me where you've travelled from. I love hearing your stories, and it's one of the reasons I keep doing what I do.


Know an Event We Should Be At?


I'm always looking for new places to take Phoenix.

Markets, festivals, country shows, airshows, Christmas events, fireworks displays — if there's an opportunity to bring our cakes to more people, I want to hear about it. So if you know of an event  that could do with a completely gluten-free bakery and coffee horsebox, please tell me.

And if you're an event organiser looking for something a little different, I'd love to hear from you too.


Help Us Reach More People


This is where I need your help. The gluten-free community has been incredible at supporting Phoenix, and word of mouth makes such a difference to a small business like ours. If you see we're attending an event near someone you know who's gluten-free, please let them know. You never know, it might be the first time they've been able to go to an event and actually have a choice and that's exactly why Phoenix exists.
